    1. Village Administrative Officer in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service (2009-2010) : 1576 Posts
    • Pay Scale : PB-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000
    • Age : Min. Age : 21 Years , Max. Age : 40 years of age for SC/ SC (Arunthathiyars), STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCM and Destitute Widows of all castes. 30 years of age for „Others.
    2. Village Administrative Officer (Shortfall vacancies for SC/ST) : 1077 Posts
    • Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2000
    • Age : Minimum. Age : 21 Years , Maximum. Age : 40 years of age for SC/ SC (Arunthathiyars), STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCM and Destitute Widows of all castes. 30 years of age for „Others.

Pay Scale : Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.
